One Kings Lane - a review.

Have you guys ever used OneKingsLane.com?

The company matches undiscovered vendors who typically sell only through interior designers or specialty retailers with consumers who wouldn't normally have access to their wares. Like Gilt, it offers discounts on the items, and sales last only a few days. -fortune.com

Red, leather moleskin; typically $39, but on sale for $7.

I try to get my shopping fill through online retailers,

 but struggle to find the joy in opening a box vs rifling through racks.

There's always so much packaging.

I try to reuse as much as possible.

My planner is in here somewhere, right?

At some point? 

At least these guys don't use styrofoam peanuts. 

I hate those things.

Looks like a friggin' travel candle.

A friggin' travel candle?

ANNOYED! 

Called OneKingsLane immediately and the operator couldn't stop cracking up while apologizing. Said the packer included my complimentary candle, but must have plumb forgotten to put my order in the box. Forgotten?! Forgotten. AND they were all out of my planner so they couldn't even send another to me. 

Annoyed!

To top it off, I had misdialed the first time I called, off by one number, and was inadvertently connected to a sex hotline. A quick hang-up and redial got me to the laugh-y operator, but as soon as I hung up with him, I started getting RAPID FIRE TEXT MESSAGES of this nature:
