In the spirit of getting some sewing experience under my belt, I tackled bib-making. Picked out some fun material with jen + jack and went to that crazy fabric warehouse on Friday. I'm having fun with my sewing machine.
Freezer paper comes in handy again!
Meant to trace a real bib, forgot, and kinda sketched it out.
Hope the neckhole is big enough.
Fun material that jen picked out.
Made a couple of circles using an applique process.
Handmade bias tape is wrapped around a bottle of glitter in the upper right.

i love them so much, but yea, seems way hard... need a whole weekend to make some!
oh. my. god. they are so so so so cute!!!!!
adorable! great job :)
what a great fabric choice.
fabulous!
wow, love the tie!
You need to have your own etsy site you are just that darn crafty!!!
totally agree - les, these and everything you make are fantastic. I think it's time you ditch the day job and craft full time. You know you want to!
(you know what you should do? really? make one signature super super cool craft that it seems like no one else does, and get it on Rachel Ray. She's all over that kind of stuff. Or Martha, too, if it's a craft people can do at home. They're always showing super crafty gals like yourself that have amazing talent and way-cool products they've made. I'm just sayin'...
thanks for the positive feedback, you guys! i'm having fun showing what i do in my spare time and will definitely think about taking some action with them. etsy should be easy enough, but i think i need to make a whole bunch of stuff to post before i seem like a credible seller. not to mention the fact that they'd have to be a TON cuter than the first drafts. :)
working on it.
