My number one buddy.The Greens had some important stuff to do for a day so in I swooped, honored to have the opportunity for some one-on-one time with my fave baby! I say fave because he's starting to show signs of grins to see me and I think little jack is the first baby I've been able to be this tight with for the first 6months of life. Pretty cool to watch the little man advance in developmental stages and I'm definitely growing so attached to his little noggin.
Oh, and mad KUDOS to all of you moms out there. I mean, like, HUMONGOUS KUDOS. I was with Jack for maybe 6 hours and all I wanted to do afterwards was take a 3day nap. Something I guess you guys can't indulge in, right? ((one day on, three days off...that's not how it works?)) Yes, I recognize this as a sign that we're not ready for kids AT ALL. It was like a real-life, mini Baby Borrowers revelation. Jack and I had a great time while we were together though and I had so much fun playing mom for a day!

where do your friends live? It so looks like 'home' to me (being from the Albany area of the East Bay but I don't think that's where they live.

baby borrowers is crazy! the teens are nuts...they become emotional messes,end up yelling at the parents and totally realize they are not ready to be parents. i think the season finale/recap is august 6th. from what i've heard, all couples broke up after the experience on the show.

auntie kassar was the very BEST non-biological aunt last week! jack had a blast, pete and i are so appreciative, and we hope to have another day with you in suburbia - whenever you want... i would like a 3 HOUR nap!
we are east bay-ish. fairfied. funny, the hills of albany look strickingly similar, huh?
