Hudson is just over the moon about this giraffe sock monkey from....JO!!
But don't worry, he's safely sitting on our mantle and stares back at us while we wonder how the heck Jo Daly (of devon's wedding fame) pulls off something so.darn.cute. It was one of TWO gorgeous handmade pieces that came to us all the way from the east coast; on the brink of being lost by the USPS during the most brutal snowstorm since, like, the 1920s or something. We have experienced lost and delayed mail on both sides of the storm (many-a-curseword thrown at the postal service this winter by me & Jo), but man....if this package were lost, I'd just about poop myself.
CAN YOU IMAGINE IF WE NEVER RECEIVED THIS MASTERPIECE??
