That's me, an only child for one more year and one more month.
February 1988.
Seisen International School - Japan
Come March 16th, the very next year, Amy came around and completely modified my concept of "family". Yes, we are almost ten years apart, but that never mattered to me. Amy was the greatest gift my mom and dad could have given to me back then and continues to be the greatest family member a girl could ever ask for. She inspires me, teaches me, and will forever be part of me.
So, it goes without saying that this crazy girl HAS to be one of my bridesmaids, right? Similar to my dilemma with asking Devon to be my MOH, Amy's all the way in Barcelona until the end of the year and I hadn't figured out how to ask her until.......
spontaneously last week.....
Why do I feel like I keep asking these girls to be in our wedding party like I'm asking them to marry me? Sheesh.

emily and i are 10 years apart too! and i was 20 when she got married and i was technically her MOH although her best friend got to do all of the MOH responsibilities since my world revolved around college finals, boys and cheap vodka and i would have been pretty bad at planning a shower or bachelorette party.
yay! so sweet and cute!
p.s.i love that amy is spooning the pb, my kinda snack :)
My brother = 11 years younger than me. although he was not my bridesmaid =)
she talks just like you!
i want to know why modawi was star of the month and you weren't!
that's so crazy that so many have siblings far apart from one another. growing up in a single-child household was pretty common in japan. having a sibling that far apart was basically unheard of!
and i don't know why modawi was a rockstar. she's now my facebook friend and i should ask her why i wasn't the star of the month...or if she remembers whether i was EVER the star of the month!
wooooo!!! :) :) :) yaaay thanks for askin me again! i'm eeecstatttiicc! and yeah, at first i thought you were gonna whip out some ridic costume as a joke or something. and i didn't realize how intensely i was eating that nutella. haha
