who knew i'd end up with a blog one day, posting daily photos of myself, huh?
Oh man. How cool are these PHOTOGRAPHERS?? I mean, way to go, folks. Way to reinvent an old school tradition, making it more fun and pleasurable and terrific! I.am.so.into.them.
And yet another reason for us to birth and relocate to NYC. Ok, maybe just relocate. not birth. No birthing going on around here. Hmmm...no relocation plans in the near future, for that matter. Maybe just another reason to visit? Oooh, I wonder if Stomping Ground would be creeped out if Jamie and I scheduled a couple of appointments for ourselves. :)

I love your school photos!!!!!
Please schedule your engagement/wedding photos with these folks.
no. i have always HATED it when the person taking a group photos shouts, "ok, now everyone do something silly!"
i never know what to do. then i feel all stupid.
but the pic of that little girl is precious.
You were so cute...much cuter now though. I can only imagine what kind of crazy pic you and Jamie would take. Maybe you should have a do-it-yourself "stomping ground-inspired" photo shoot.
whoa. your school pics are ADORABLE! i wish you were in my class...
i only liked my pics once i was in contacts and out of braces... so it took until 10th grade pics to look SEMI cute.
i also had the HUGE glasses.
i will see if i can find a pic or 2 for the blog.
those pics seem like so much fun!
Kinda embarrassed to say I still take yearly school photos...doesn't ever get any better. Last year mine did end up kinda cute, it was on my ID tag all year. What are the chances that this photographer does a little charity work in East Oakland?
love your old school photos!
i agree with sarah - engagement pics for sure.
my school pics... ewww. i have some hideously big glasses for a couple years in elementary school. then i refused and i mean refused to wear any glasses. 6th grade was hideous bangs. and maybe a large bow. i can't recall at this moment.
ahhh your photos are ridiculously cute. Why on earth did they ever feel like glasses needed to be THAT BIG? Is it because kids grow out of their clothes so fast, they figured, "hey, let's just make their glasses the size of old school satellite dishes, and then regardless of how big this kid's head gets, they'll NEVER outgrown their lenses."
Yes, I think that is is.
And the new photos? So. Cute. Now that is what school photos should be like. My parents have an entire wall of photos upstairs in their house with every photo (read: kindergarden - university grad) of my sister and i. My favorite was the year I wanted to wear a tie (for fun, y'know) with a vest and a blouse. When picture time rolled around, i tugged the tie out of the vest and man, was my mom pissed. Second place goes to grade 2 where i had some slightly tinted Strawberry Shortcake lipgloss. I felt so mature to put on my lipgloss before my photo...and then my teacher saw it and make me wipe it off.
So. Sad.
i grew up from K-4 in Ft. Worth, TX; then from 5-6 grade in Houston, TX; then from 7th on in Edmond, OK (near OKC).
Gardening... hmmmm
i spent a lot of time at first...
but it was yard + garden... but for both, we tilled the yard/garden, seeded, watered, planted, then you just keep an eye on things, pick off dead things, compost, place compost, check for bugs,
I mean, it's mainly a lot of watching, and waiting.
and if something happens, fix it.
we got a timer for our soaker hose, so that helped a lot!
i would say per week it's probably 1-2 hours or so???
every year i wanted re-takes, and every year the re-takes came out worse than the originals :( my favorite was 5th grade. i got braces put on the day BEFORE, and i rocked a super high, super crooked side pony tail. ha.
yours are super cute! what a cool photographer on the last few-awesome. please bring hudson to your photo session?
