hudson! what happened to pancakes this morning? i usually eat scrambled eggs (2) or cereal with soy milk. trying to lay off the coffee... it is not making my stomach happy lately :(
however, i am also a HUGE fan of birthday cake (or any cake) for breakfast.
love the straw in the coffee. i've had cheerios almost every day for breakfast since i was ummm 5? craziness. i like oatmeal too, not the instant kind though, but the old-fashioned. and a small cup of OJ. and a large cup o' joe!
i like an egg scrambled with some goat cheese + avocado. weekend? something sweet, like pancakes or french toast. these yummy breakfasts depend on time, though, and i don't normally have enough of it in the mornings!
and, did you know john costanzo has been serving the 'breakfast of champions' to kids for years? much to the dismay of their parents (or my mom)? soda + hershey kisses. jack had not been allowed to partake - and i'm hoping to keep it that way for as long as i can :)... it is a fun grandpa sort of thing to do...
well i was doing whole wheat english muffin with peanut butter but then switched to smoothie. smoothie doesn't hold me to lunch though so we'll see where we go from here.
p.s. i think hudson secretly reads dooce when you aren't around, and he's like "man, i want to be like the daily chuck. i will be making it a point to sneak it as many photos as possible that leslie takes"
but sort of in a "where's waldo" sort of a way. on the cover of our quarterly TCU alum magazine, they have a "find the hidden frog" feature. it's like highlights mag. all over again. without the free smiley stickers. totally used to steal them from the highlights at my dentist's office...

along the lines of debi's response, i think that pie makes a great breakfast. have not had pie in a long time.
believe i am now craving it.
oh, but otherwise i think you already know i'm a "fage greek yogurt + milk&honey granola" kind of girl!
