Cayuga 2000 reunite!
As most of you know, my one summer @ Camp Cayuga was a life-changing experience that allowed me to connect with such a huge variety of people I was able to call close friends only after our short 8 weeks together. Additionally, we have various internet forums (email, blogs, etc.) to keep in touch with each other and getting together is incredibly natural and easy! So, when we figured out NYC was going to be our weekend destination, I put in a quick email to the e.coast gals and they took care of everything! My excuse for non-involvement was my 2week bedridden status, but I think we are all very aware that I just wanted them to take care of it all. :) Hooray for organized and internet + restaurant review friends.
I forget that Debi and Trish hadn't seen each other in 9 years, because I have seen them about every couple of years, but it was terrific to laugh hard, tell stupid camp stories, and nosh on some of the best breakfast items I've ever had! Oh, and to get to know the significant others too (can't dismiss their presence, right?).
