Say What?

Old Navy treated me super kind a few days ago. I found kids' shirts for $1.99, basic tanks for me on sale for $4.99 and this fun dress that I had to grab...without even trying on! I've experienced a definitive downward spiral over the past couple of years in the trying-it-on department, especially in more discount stores like the O.Navy and Target. I just simply can't be bothered and tend to just guess a size, or even grab a couple of sizes, banking on the stellar return policies that these big box stores have. One trick includes measuring seam-to-seam on the article of clothing I already have on to see if it'll fit my butt.

Back to the dress. It's of stretchy, thick cotton that does wrinkle a bit when crumbled in the shopping bag, but doesn't hold the cross-lap-car-wrinkle that so many cotton dresses can. The Cap-Sleeve Dress is a bit short for me to pull of as an office appropriate dress, but with a pair of opaque tights or leggings? Awesome. And, I think it still looks cute if out to after work dinner!

Comes in black (yawn) and this fun blue/grey combo. Both have a thicker band right under the bust, hello flattering! So much better on than hanger and uber-comfortable too.
