we caught the tailend of a tropical storm when we first got into the country.unnecessarily feared bad weather for the rest of our trip.
Our vacation to Costa Rica definitely rocked. Highlights + future posting include:
- Ziplining (for SURE) + hot springs + seeing monkeys in the "wild". National parks count, right?
- Feeling like we scored with off-season discounts and unseasonably sunny weather.
- Seeing jamie's brother for the first time in a year and hanging out with the kids et al.
- Driving on + surviving those CRAZY roads. Yes, that's right, folks. I DROVE SOME OF IT. in the rain and on unpaved roads and all. Obviously, more on this later.

you drove those roads?! we let others do the driving for us... not sure we were any calmer on the roads though. ha ha. can't wait to see more pics and hear about the adventures.
