YES to the new pjs!!

[Sensuous-Ad.jpg]
MUCH hotter that T.Cruise, right?

About a week ago, I posted some info on a Claridge + King sleepytime shirt I spontaneously purchased online. The response was surprising to me! Had no idea that friends of mine hadn't done the men's shirt look yet and am so glad to bring it to ya'lls attention. ((Hey, Lo or other Oklahomies. Is that how you spell yalls?))

Mmmmm...yummy shirt!

The shirt was all wrapped up in powder blue + silver tissue and encased in the sweetest little linen pouch. I might have just purchased the pouch if on sale on its own! Perfect for stowing shoes in during travel. Since we tend to have roommates during our work meetings and I tend to get paired with randoms every time, it's nice to show up with a perfectly packed suitcase and individually packed shoes. So smart looking and I receive comments each time! "oooh, look at you, miss fancy pants" was my all-time fave.

Back to the shirt. AWESOME! Super soft cotton that is purported to become softer with age + wash, beautiful mother-of-pearl buttons with two extra sewn directly onto the garment, and the material feels like it has a great weight to it (not too flimsy, not too stiff). I think I'll be wearing this number often. Wondering if I could pair it with a huge belt, leggings, and ballet flats. Hmmmm....is this becoming the equivalent of wearing pj pants to classes?

On a size note, I ordered a small which is a size 4-6 equivalent and it's plenty roomy! Those smaller may want to go with the xsmall and I think the small would actually fit an 8 comfortably. Another note, I didn't order the $24 monogramming option, but thought it'd be so cute. No returns are allowed on monogrammed items and I figured if I liked it a ton and was stuck on getting LKK on the lapel, I could just take it to one of those kiosks at the mall.

Ok, now I comand you to head on over to Claridge + King for a comfy mid-week treat for yourself. Or, pick one up for your loved ones. The holidays are coming up soon, after all.

first of all, it is spelled: y'all as in you + all.

second...please post pic of LKK wearing the said shirt. Cannot imagine it on a non-naked gal due to ad pic. :)

ya...not gonna post a pic of myself in "nightwear"!! scandalocity, lo. and i always misplace the ' in y'all. what does it look like pluralized?

sarah, i don't want to steer you wrong, but i kinda love it. might be good for those chilly, santa monica coastally gloomy weekend mornings when you want to lounge about while reading the paper and drinking some oj.

think it'd be a cute bridal shower gift too. that's what i was originally thinking and just HAD to get one for myself to, you know, test it out?

I don't cuss like a sailor and I loved it! I think you just have to like dark weird humor.

how does one individually wrap shoes for travel?

is it actually comfortable to sleep in this shirt, buttons, collars and all? I mean, the girl in the pic looks like she just 'slept over' at a guys place and not wanting to do the walk of shame home in her stilettos and skirt from the night previous, donned said guy's collared shirt. Sexy, yes. But for sleeping? Really?

And you know, part of the reason for having Mr. Hudson is so he can shamelessly pose for the photos you're too modest to post yourself. i'm just sayin'.

oh - is it not hilarious that in my post (from like 10 min ago that i posted before reading Les's post) that when I typed "y'all" I totally had to think about where the ' goes. So not second nature to me. I'll let you know how one week in texas affects the natural usability of the y'all.

I love the shirt, but.... I always feel weird without pants/shorts... is it long enough?
