The timing in which I found this article about Brandon Walsh + wine was impeccable. Found it through Amanda's publication and thought it enough to inspire a 90210 dedicated post. Can't wait for the fall schedule of television to return!!
And by "do as the Walshes do" I mean do as the Walshes did back in the earlier days when Cindy+Jim were still together and basically rocking the parental roles for Brandon/Brenda/Valerie/etc. Waaaay before they moved to Hong Kong (huh?), started having affairs, and let Steve keep living in their Beverly Hills ranch-style home without them. My eyes were GLUED to the screen back then and I learned many a teen lesson from Mr. and Mrs. Walsh during the first few seasons of 90210. Once college came around, my devotion certainly ran a bit more spotty, but definitely watched the series finale. Actually, I think I watched the finale in a makeshift PeachPit-like sunken living room and cried my eyes out with the girls of Arlington apts (college, holla!): Jocelyn, Annie, hmmm...can't remember who else was there.bleagh! acid wash!!We got together for a mini wine tasting (plus yummy snacks) @ Jocelyn's a couple of weekends ago and my mind definitely drifted to that night in their sunken living room and the 90210 finale. AND to the fact that the CW network is bringing the series back to life!

For the record, Annie* definitely took me to PANTS TWO on opening day!! She read my request RIGHT HERE and took it upon herself to look up times and to make sure I got there @ first availability. Love. her. Although I was slightly disappointed when coming out of the theater, the plotline has marinated in my brain and I'm still a fan of those crazy girls. I'm hoping to rely on some of my neighbors to encourage a 90210-redux tv night....anyone know when it's supposed to start??

yeah, like you i was glued to 90210. and was spotty thru college only b/c i didn't have a tv for most of the time. but, i will say i am guilty of watching reruns on sat mornings sometimes.... can't wait to see the return. i'm sure it'll so not be as good as the original... but i'll still watch. just like i watched saved by the bell the college years. i'd still like to marry zach. i was pretty convinced of that when i was younger!
