I missed a book signing last time Giada De Laurentiis was in town so when Crate & Barrel sent out an email about her visit to SF last week, Jamie was totally all over it for me. He forwarded it to me two times AND reminded me about it this morning. Yes, I planned the day accordingly! Swung through downtown, made sure to be at the store by 1:30pm, and I was #187 to get my newly acquired Giada cookbook signed (needed to purchase to get a number). Secretly brought in the book I had sitting at home, so I got a 2-for-1 deal, and felt better about the purchase.

with your hand there it looks like she is actually handing you a bowl of pasta! the fun things people find to do on their lunch breaks.
is she as adorable in person as she is on tv?
have you made her recipes are they easy? tasty?
totally adorable, yes. have to say a bit more wrinkly, but i liked that about seeing her in person. also, i've only tried one recipe so far, but am planning to investigate some more this weekend!
She is totally awesome. Ruthie prefers to watch her instead of afternoon cartoons. Now that is saying something. Let me know how your cooking this weekend goes.
i love her signature!! that sounds like a fun lunchtime activity!
