I'm lucky enough to have multiple groups of girlfriends from my years @ Davis; most importantly including Smith (Jennifer Smith aka smith, smeed, smitty, smithers, and all other pirate-y names)! She's been a cornerstone in my life for the past 10 years and I'm super excited to be recruiting more and more of her LA friends up this direction so she'll have that many more reasons to make it up to SF! Reason #1 being her parents' residence right across the street from PacBell Park where the Giants play. Reason #2 being me, of course. I'd like to rank the other gals below me, but I know we should all sit under Reason #2. Fine. :) Doesn't quite matter, I just love these girls!!
Last Sunday, we got together to brunch like proper ladies (ok, there were 2 boys with us as well) at Crossroads Cafe in South Beach to help support the folks that get to work there. Actually, the food is simply yummy and it just happens to be associated with the Delancey Street Foundation (more info here). I swear, I'm going to make so much more of an effort to get myself back there for the DELICIOUS sandwiches!!
