In lieu of typical Valentine's Day activities (who has time to make it to dinner in the middle of the week??), Jamie planned a whole slew of activities for the 3day weekend...in honor of Presidents' Day? Nah. Anyway, Saturday began with a banana pancake & coffee wake-up after sleeping in, a matinee show of Legally Blonde, a BART ride to the Mission, and some yummy Mexican food for dinner! Oh my god, LB was hilarious!! At first, I couldn't believe that they made a MUSICAL out of the movie, but it turns out there was a BOOK that both were based on? Anyway, it's comprised of v.cute songs, v.unique sets, v.fun dance numbers, and it's on its way to NYC. For a good time, call for tickets if you're in town!
The rest of the weekend plans kinda slowed down with the onset of the influenza virus that knocked Jamie off of his feet for almost 6 days and a nasty cold that I got while trying to not get that flu. Boo on sickness!
Anyway, I'm hoping to make up for it next weekend with Exploratorium adventures and potentially more banana pancakes. yay!
