This building is the Los Angeles Police Department and surprised us greatly. We thought it was surely a museum or architectural firm or something. The sun was setting in downtown LA as we cruised through the emptying area, taking our time to appreciate the tall skyline and historic significance of some structures. The building popped out of nowhere and seemed to glitter amidst the massive concrete jungle.
