In response to Kitchen Questions...

I think I have to do a better job of answering the fun questions I get here! You guys crack me up:

Andrea
- yes, you're in big trouble. i can't believe you can't tell a difference. you know how much work it took to REPAINT?? jk. i know it's hard to tell with the pictures i took.
Trish - damn you for outing me.
Devon - SORRY!! There's only one lowes around here and it's not as accessible as the 8 homedepots. EEP. i promise i got valspar spray paint at michaels for other random craftiness. the glitter spray paint was fun. regardless, i know i ought to make more of an effort to contribute to the success of your husband's company. SORRY!!
Liz - you're definitely supposed to ask for landlord permission before painting, but i figured that nothing is the same "white" in here anyway, so i'll just repaint when we move. devon and i got in BIG trouble when we painted over the diarreah colored walls in our sacramento home, but it was almost worth it. you know, to not live in diarreah. our landlord here is way laidback and hands off. the sacramento one would spy on us all the time.
Annonymous - who are you?
Amanda - i will also admit to looking into others' homes when walking around at night. it's admittedly creepy, but too fun to stop! i tried to take pictures at the same time of day, but the natural light in this city varies so much hour to hour. :( these were the best i could provide, promise! and i had definitely decided green would be easiest to coordinate with the weird orange floor tiles, the floral tiled backsplash, and the outdated cabinets. thought about yellow, but that's a difficult color for me to look good in. started with accent items to see if it would look ok then moved to paint!
Lauren - i'll try to provide more pictures of home life for you, little lady. not selfish at all!
