Santa Monica Weekend for Devon

**I finally uploaded the photos from our weekend extravaganza in Santa Monica!**

REALLY lame poem coming up....

we're that much closer to devon's big day.
when, as a group of friends, we'll be giving her away.
to Mr. Patrick Larkin our beauty shall wed...
a ceremony, a party, then off to their bed!!
you were warned. lame-o.

Shower went well, all sorts of dev's friends showed up!

We jumped.

We yoga'd (uh, yah right).

And we painted.

That's LITERALLY what it looked like.
Talk about an effigy, huh? I wanted to call ABC Nightly News about it.

It was a great, sunshiney series of days with much needed girltime + devon celebration. We had a great time bonding, figuring out the wedding processional, exchanging seedy stories about ourselves, getting a kick out of 27 dresses (um, hi! how apropos!), painting a random bowl (what's it look like, lyman?), & chowing on tons + tons of food: truffle grilled-cheese + hummus platter + mustard seed laced caesar salad @ the Viceroy; indulgent snack items + wine from holly; mad sushi @ Tengu; mini-cupcakes + a masonjar banana pudding from Vanilla Bakeshop; pizza from Wildflour Pizza; and popcorn + nachos + yogurt raisins (theater must!).
