Hopping on a teeeeeny tiiiiny liiiiitle plane from Christchurch - Nelson(had to stop @ Christchurch to and from Queenstown).
Actually, I was just trying to subtly get a picture with the v.cute pilot.

Hiking to Center of New Zealand - the geographical center, i think.
The NZers must just be incredibly fit because they called this a v.easy hike for folks 4-94yrs.
We were DYING, it was so steep!
We made it! and then we saw pairs upon pairs of octogenarians crawling up and down
this thing like it wasn't a big deal at all. Sheesh.
It's a tourist cliche type of place, but there's not much else to do in Nelson.
Just killing time for our kayaking trip in the morning.
Please give way to the church.

The Hotel Rutherford. Our least fave hotel during our whole trip. Way too old & corporate for our liking.

i watched your video. at first it was boring. then it got beautiful! then back to boring. sounds windy there.
was it a pizza or a baked brie?
it was pizza with brie baked on top of it! seemed pretty common there and even subbed the chick with turkey.
