Crafting - Baby Shower Favor

this one has been sitting in a bag since the actual shower.
it's a bit beat up @ the corners.

So, a couple of you guys mentioned upcoming baby showers? I think I mentioned that Ramona's baby shower was @ a tea room in SF, right? I had been in no way involved with the planning process on this one. But the weekend prior to the shower, I forced Smith to take action on her plans for the favors. With dev's help on the phone from Chicago, we found some Tea Forte at what ended up being such a weird experience @ the Origins in Century City. During the 10min we were there, an entire wall of glass shattered "spontaneously". Like FLOOR-TO-CEILING of shatterdness and chunks falling to the ground. You know you watch way too many episodes of Law & Order when your immediate thought is that it HAS to be a hate crime and some crazy guy was actually aiming his bullet/rock/grenade at his ex-girlfriend who works at the store. And when you start dusting for prints with a container of Origins bronzer? You realize a voluntary self-admittance to emergency L&O rehab is in order.

Smith came up to SF with the 20-pack of teas intact and totally not complete for the shower the next day. Oooh, I'm sure you guys KNOW that totally made me & my crazy TypeA twitch involuntarily so I snatched them from her and raced home to see what I could put together overnight. So controlling, aren't I?? It annoys me. After a quick gander in my drawer of labels, I found these LARGE ones and white mini-ribbon. A quick print on the ole mailing labels left over from our HS reunion and tada! Looked like we meant to do this all along. Phew, favor crisis averted. They looked adorable on the table amidst the random teapots & tea sandwiches. Forgot camera @ home like the great blogger I am.
